Monday Weather Forecast

San Antonio will start the new week with "a little bit of everything," KENS 5 Chief Meteorologist Albert Ramon said. Skies will be partly cloudy, and temperatures will warm into the mid-70s.

There's a 10% chance for isolated showers after 4 p.m. Any storms that develop will be slow-moving, and there's a low risk for flash flooding.

The rain chance increases slightly on Tuesday, with a 20% chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms.

Rest of the Week Forecast

The middle of the week will be hot and humid, with high temperatures in the upper 80s to near 90 degrees. The rain chance remains low, with only a 10% chance for isolated showers on Wednesday and Thursday.

Another front will move through late in the week, bringing slightly cooler and drier air. High temperatures will drop into the mid-80s by Friday and Saturday, and the rain chance will be near zero.

Hurricane Hunters Head to the Atlantic

The National Hurricane Center is monitoring two areas of interest in the Atlantic Ocean, one of which has a medium chance of development over the next five days.

Hurricane Hunters are scheduled to investigate the disturbance off the coast of Georgia on Monday to gather more data.

The other area of interest is located several hundred miles southwest of the Cabo Verde Islands. It has a low chance of development over the next five days.
