Real Madrid and Manchester City played out a thrilling 1-1 draw in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League semifinal on Tuesday.

Real Madrid responded well to going behind, and they equalized just six minutes later through Benzema. The French striker latched onto a pass from Vinicius Junior and fired a shot into the roof of the net.
The draw leaves the tie finely poised ahead of the second leg, which will be played at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester on May 16.
